ABOUT ART FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING

Art for Independent Living is the project initiated & executed by Zy Movement Foundation since 2019, providing workshop for children with movement disabilities to learn the technique and use their imagination to create their own art pieces.

9 workshops last year were led by Pop Snapshot, the Wheelchair Artist who has proved his Difference Abilities and willing to share his positive thought to other Differently-abled in our society, especially, our special children.

The art pieces images were being used on products for our fundraising campaign to further support the continuation of the project including other empowering projects run by Zy Movement Foundation, aligned with the objectives to improve quality of life of the children with movement disabilities towards INDEPENDENT LIVING.

The Bangkok Art & Cultural Centre (BACC) has the same vision to give these children an opportunity to explore their real potential and showcase to public that it will create the right attitude towards person with disabilities, to be seen as another person in community, with different abilities to create an INCLUSIVE SOCIETY for all of us.

The Art for Independent Living Showcase then scheduled to launch on August 18th - 23rd, 2020 at one of the top museums in Thailand, The Bangkok Art & Cultural Centre (BACC), 1st floor, featured with art workshops by differently abled artists, to support opportunities for people in society to learn more about Independent Living.
